International Sculpture Weekend
Albuquerque Museum celebrates International Sculpture Day with special tours of our sculpture gardens
On Monday, April 24, 2017 the world celebrates sculpture during the 3rd annual International Sculpture Day. Albuquerque Museum will participate with a weekend full of special tours.
Knowledgeable, enthusiastic docents will lead special tours of the outdoor Sculpture Gardens, as well as feature select sculptures inside the Museum. Every tour is different.
Saturday, April 22 at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Sunday, April 23 at 10 a.m and 1 p.m.
On Monday, April 24, the Museum is closed, but our sculpture gardens are always open! Take a self-directed audio tour, or just wander through the gardens to view the newly patinated Prayer by Allan Houser, the freshly painted blues of Variacion Nuevo Mexico by Sebastian, and many more.
The tours are free with your paid admission to Albuquerque Museum. The Sculpture is looking good and the spring weather promises us a beautiful day. Post your pics! #ABQmuseum #ISday
